Sandy Costanzo-O'Brien

Sandy Costanzo-O'Brien is a founding and life member of The Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Canada, and also holds life membership in both the British and American Welsh societies. She is also an active clinician in all aspects of conformation, breed type, and turning out the 'In Hand' Welsh pony.

A Senior Welsh judge in all of its divisions for Canada and the United States, and a life member of the Welsh pony and cob Society of Great Britain since 1985. Also having the very great honour since the early 1990's, to be on the panel of judges and Inspectors for the same society.

She also holds her senior card in both The United States and Canada in the Pleasure pony division, and is a recognised judge in Arabians. Sandy has judged major international shows in the US, such as: Tulsa State Fair, The American Nationals, Virginia, Wisconsin, and The New England Welsh Pony Shows, as well as many respected Canadian shows. Sandy also had the great honour to have judged The 2010 South Eastern WPCA Silver medal show on their 40th anniversary.

Workshops Available on Location

Full working day workshops given by Sandy Costanzo-O'Brien on either a one or two day basis, on location at Brookside. Limited to four participants per workshop.

Subject matter that could be covered in theory and practical work :

Each workshop can be designed to participants experience and particular demands. Live Subjects to be used for the workshop will be the ponies at the farm, although candidates may include their ponies in the program for an additional fee for board.
