Posy was born in Ontario, Canada. She has shown many times in-hand in both Canada and the U.S. in her youth, winning Multi-Grand Championships including the Royal Winter Fair, The All Welsh Championships, Syracuse State Fair, and Upperville. At Upperville
she and her full sister Brookside Pink Magnolia, took the get of sire and the produce of dam on the same day.

In her breeding career, Posy has produced a long string of only fillies. All bringing home Championships and good ribbons. She is the dam of Small Pony Hunter Champion Brookside Maid of Honour (known in the hunter world as Prima Ballerina), Champion Brookside Merit -broodmare for Loafers Lodge Farm, and Brookside Maid to Order and Brookside Marzipan - both retained by the farm. She is half-sister to retained mares Brookside Pink Mimosa, Brookside Maggie Mae, and Brookside Dancing in the Dalk (partbred).

Posy is kind and gentle with a beautiful welsh head and eye, and is a fabulous mover. How could she fail with such lovely parents.
